There are quite a few people in the world that aren't that big fans of spiders. I'm definetly one of them. Those freaky eight-legged monsters really creep me out.
I've had this 'phobia' for as long as I can remember. Everytime I see a spider, I start screaming or mainly just freeze on the spot, scared that the spider would jump on me. Most of the time I'm not brave enough to kill the spider. I just scream and wait for someone to come and help me. that works quite alright, but of course, it's not a water proof method. Instead of doing something, I act all passive. wait... that's like.. not acting at all. Most people tend to drown spiders. I just read a horrific article conserning trying to drown spiders. they did this experiment, where they looked for woolf spiders, and they held them under water. they had two outcomes... one type of spiders actually died after TWELVE hours under water, the second type survived 24 hours under water before they declared them deceised. that's insane! And what's even more insane... a couple of hours later, most of the spiders got back on their feet again! and not just goofing around with their legs, but they looked like nothing had happened. Spiders have the abbility to shut down their vital activities and they end up in a sort of coma. they don't move and they don't breath for a long time. when the coast is clear, they just kind of resurect. that's so bad!
the good thing is... you won't get animal action groups at your back because you happen to have killed a spider by drowing it... xNenalyzed
