Day four, and I'm already out of topics.
I've got the feeling that I had a topic this afternoon, but I completely lost it.
That's why I've decided to write about something that really got my attention.
As some of you may know, (haha, did I really say: 'some of you'? that's insane,
because nobody reads this blog :D) It's "Queensday" in the Netherlands.
Just for your information, I'm not from the Netherlands, I live in Belgium, so I don't celebrate this. But anyway, Queensday is like this big celebration and they basically celebrate the dynasty or whatever. There was a big parade, and the Queen
and her family drove around in some sort of bus. Suddenly, a car drove full speed towards the bus. It missed and hit a fence around a statue. But, before the car could reach the bus, he just drove right through a crowd of people, cheering for their Queen. It was just horrible. I saw several news reports and there were different videos. one video in particular was extremely shocking. You could actually see those people on the pavement, slightly moving or not moving at all.
According to the latest reports, 5 people got killed. 4 others are heavily injured and 8 less injured. There's a lot of evidence that the culprit did it on purpose. He was actually aiming at the Queen. He is heavily injured as well and is fighting for his life as we speak. I don't get what's going on in the mind of such a person. He killed 5 people! And why? Of course, for the moment we know very little about his motivation, and we might get this information later on, but nothing is worth killing five people for! that's just insane! Those people just stood there, they didn't see it coming. They had no clue. And now their lives have ended. People might have got traumatised by experiencing all this. And the surviving victims aren't going to like crowds that much anymore. I just hope that they get well soon.

Oh I love spiders-NOT
There are quite a few people in the world that aren't that big fans of spiders. I'm definetly one of them. Those freaky eight-legged monsters really creep me out.
I've had this 'phobia' for as long as I can remember. Everytime I see a spider, I start screaming or mainly just freeze on the spot, scared that the spider would jump on me. Most of the time I'm not brave enough to kill the spider. I just scream and wait for someone to come and help me. that works quite alright, but of course, it's not a water proof method. Instead of doing something, I act all passive. wait... that's like.. not acting at all. Most people tend to drown spiders. I just read a horrific article conserning trying to drown spiders. they did this experiment, where they looked for woolf spiders, and they held them under water. they had two outcomes... one type of spiders actually died after TWELVE hours under water, the second type survived 24 hours under water before they declared them deceised. that's insane! And what's even more insane... a couple of hours later, most of the spiders got back on their feet again! and not just goofing around with their legs, but they looked like nothing had happened. Spiders have the abbility to shut down their vital activities and they end up in a sort of coma. they don't move and they don't breath for a long time. when the coast is clear, they just kind of resurect. that's so bad!
the good thing is... you won't get animal action groups at your back because you happen to have killed a spider by drowing it... xNenalyzed

the day twitter became an addiction
I've been on twitter for 6 months now, but in those 6 months, I had barely tweeted. That is to say: until yesterday I had barely tweeted. For some reason, I decided that I couldn't go on ignoring my twitter. Now I might have evoked a twittercurse upon me... Twitter will haunt me forever in my dreams. I can't use my pc without checking my twitter. Since I'm always on my computer, I'm always on twitter. It's the neverending story! Twitter is basically taking over my life! Luckily for me, I haven't been fooling around with the mobilephonesettings... if so, I would have lost a lot of money because I would tweet all day with my phone, whenever there isn't a computer nearby.
How did all of this happen, you say? I don't know! Twitter was there the entire time, why did I choose this moment to get all twitterd? I guess it has something to do with Perez Hilton. I saw that he had a twitter, so I added him, and then I started to realise how cool and fun twitter is. If I read this in a couple of months/years/whatever, I'll probably laugh really hard with what I'm writing right now, but I don't care. While writing this blog, I've tweeted at least 10 times so far, and I don't think that those tweets will be the last. I also discovered tweetstats today... this is what my stats look like:
(insert tweetstats here later)
so I think we can conclude that I twitter most with Lidewij, I wonder if it will stay like this for ever. Probably not, but I wonder who it will be next! that's it for today, I might update this entry in the future, but for now, I got to go twittering!!

a brief introduction without introduction
So I guess this is it... my first blog. Well, that is to say; my first blog on this page.
I'm certainly not an experienced blogger, not in the least, but I've had my fair share of blogs already. Of course I don't need to add that they were all little failures, piece by piece. Now you wonder why I'm doing this blog then? Well,... I'm not sure myself. I think one side of me hated the fact that my perseverence is so lacking. I really want to be able to keep a blog. I don't care if people read it. I don't need people to read my blog. this is pure for myself. Of course, you are welcome to read on if you like what I write. I'm certainly not going to stop you. Besides, the internet is the worst place to keep your secrets, so I'm not even going to try that. All though I've got the feeling that whatever I'll write will remain a secret.
This is so typically me! Instead of giving a proper introduction, I just start writing. Freewriting that is. I want to keep my fingers moving. They don't get time to rest. That's okay.
So, my name is Heleen, (but you can say Helen if you like) I'm 19 years old, and I happen to live in a small country named Belgium. You have never heard of it, you say? oh, that's no problem, I'm sure it's on the map. Just check france and the Netherlands and Germany, and You'll find it.
In case you don't, then I've got some bad news for you: you're not that good in geography, mate!
but don't worry, neither am I. You're not a total failure in life, yet. Maybe you should try to write a blog. It does make you feel like you mean something on the internet. Which is rubbish of course, considering the huge amount of bloggers and vloggers all over the world. And I mentioned vloggers. I happen to be one as well. alright, alright, I pretend to be one.
I'm still in the "let's make a video! oh but I don't know what to do! let's make a videoresponse and post it on YouTube-fase" That's not entirily true. I do have some ideas for more 'original' video's (for what that's worth, because originality doesn't seem to be original these days)
but I'm just too scared to film them. I'm not comfortable yet with sitting in front of the camera, hence my videoresponsemakingface. I need to get some cameraskills before I can do the bigger stuff. But I bet that by then, someone will come up with the ideas that I had and so mine will look like they are stolen from those other people. Oh well, they might be not original at all right now, so we'll never now, I guess. That's it for today. I'll just end with this little story concerning my first posted video on my YouTubechannel 'Nenalyzed':http://www.youtube.com/user/nenalyzed/
about a year ago, I saw all these vloggers like: charlieissocoollike, vlogbrothers,... and I realised that that's what I wanted to do. I also noticed that they all had an intro. That's why I decided that I needed an intro as well. I planned to make the intro, and my first vlog would follow soon after I had uploaded the intro. But it didn't go according to plan. First of all, instead of mastering adobe after effects, as I had counted on, I had to face the fact that all my attempts at using it were a complete and utter failure. Secondly, I didn't make a video for a long time, in fact, it took me a couple of months before I posted the second video. And thirdly, I didn't even use the intro when I posted my second video. (Well, technically, it wasn't a vlog, but I didn't use it, so...)
(insert video here)
that's it for today. wait! That's like a deja vu, right?
